i want to..but i cant

Saturday, 31st May 2008

Suppose to be studying in library today but i am too lazy to go. Weather is too hot, spoiled my mood. Woke up quite late as hang out with mom and sis last night and came home late. Well, let me update on things happened last night.

Dropped mom at her friend's house and headed to The Curve with princess to go for a window shopping. Supposed to be celebrating her graduation and treat her a dinner ( I actually went to the ATM to get some cash, this girl can just bring me into one of those expensive restaurant without a cent in her own wallet ), but mom had prepared dinner for us. So too bad.

What is window shopping? In my dictionary, it stands for trying all clothes without having the intention to buy. It looks nice on me though, but i dont have the bucks to buy la, so sorry to the salesperson. Recently have been addicted in looking for cardigens. It's just simply because i dont have much which can really keep me warm during winter and spring and maybe autumn in Aust?LOLz..i just cant stand cold. not even the aircond in class and library!

As all of us know, MNG's clothes are not bad. I do love them, but wait till i earn my own money, i will get it by myself! i dont need sponsors, i dont need ppl to BAO also ( somebody always say that i bao ppl or ppl bao me.......disappointed! )

After 3 hours of window shopping, went back to mom's friend's house to pick her up. I have already expected that i will need to join them for their conversation for few hours in the big bungalow. The first thing when mom's friend who came back from England saw sis and I and said this to us:-

Aunt : Wow, you both look so young. I think you will be around 13 or 14 years old, maximum.

(I was smilling happily as no one say that i still look like a teenager!)

Me : Really? people normally say that i am about 23-25 years old.

Aunt : No no no, no way..you can even purchase the children's ticket in England.(thinking in my heart, r u insulting me?lolz) btw, how old are you actually?

Me : I am XX years old.

(She got a shocked. HaHaHa!)

Well, then here comes another auntie asking me.

Aunt : Hi girls, oh, why are you so thin? (holding my hands, looking at the size of my body)
Oh, your sis is fine with her size.

I just feel like telling her my mom used to be this slim too when she was at my age! Maybe i dress up wrongly by wearing the tight jeans and top which shows how SLIM i am. If you have been seeing me grow, you will only notice that i nvr grow side ways. I dont know why!

I m so happy for you

Friday, 30th May 2008

Received a call from princess, this is the conversation :

Princess: Jie, you will have to buy an air ticket to fly

back to attend my convo already.
Me: Oh, when?next yr? (trying to fool her)
Princess: No la, this july la!

Congrats sis!!!Finally..you can enjoy the excitement and joy that I've gone through last year. This remind me of my graduation last year on the 28th of July. My whole family are all excited about it while I am not. Dont know why. Sis make me get up at 6 in the mornin to put on make up and curl my hair. I was still half asleep. Then rush to the college to get ready for the ceremony.

I still remember this. Wow, walking up to the stage, looking at all the cameras, trying to give my best smile, crossing my fingers behind not to tripped. It will be super embarrased if that happens to me. And after getting down from the stage, i was so relief. It's over! I've graduated. Actually, it's just a process. The knowledge and skills that i have gained are the most important ones.

What to do next? Of course, not forgetting to get as many pics as possible as memories. My hobby. Princess even arranged to go to the studio to get a Family Pic in the afternoon. Thanks sis.

you cheated my money

Thursday, 29th May 2008

What a nice day. It has been raining cats and dogs in the afternoon. I didnt get to enjoy it as i was having a VL. This VL is a very funny man. Friends who attended his lecture last sem told me that, dun listen to him, he will confused you. During the first lesson, he was really a story-teller. I fall asleep. I guess he noticed that.

Today, I found out that the books that we have bought for law corporation, which cost me RM 263 in total are not able to resell next sem!!!This is due to the idiot who changed the rules that the subject Law 224 is no longer offered in my uni and this applies to all campuses.

I asked VL, he said he is sad and he apologized to me. He didnt know about it as there was no meeting held. What rule is this? What kind of system is this?I know that idiot has the right to make such decision but why didnt he/she inform the unit controller first? This idiot didnt think of us too! And the worst thing is, students have to purchase the original text book ( brand new as they have changed the edition, this book is specially shipped from Perth ) and a legislation ( this book is a must as this paper is an open book paper ). ALl these cost so much to we poor student!!! My VL gave me a good suggestion to write in and complain. Right, i will get some supporters!

Fine, now i just have to look out for buyers from different uni to purchase my legislation. I pity my friends who purchased the latest edition, Year 2008 as it cost them RM 280!!! Mine was Year 2007 and it cost lesser, but still, accounting students tend to be abit more calculative than others, hehe. So, i think, with that amount of money, i can purchase a pair of heels, dresses, pants, tops, enjoy dinner at high class restaurant, pubs...............................................

Ok, back to my preparation for Aust, mom n sis went and get me a hand lugagge today. They have been surveying from all malls for the past few weeks and finally, they got this for me.Thanks alot.Muaks...The next thing i need to get is my laptop. Looking fwd for it.

There's no place like home, and no home like these friends

Wednesday, 28th May 2008

Well, talking about friends, i have lots. But coming to friends who really treat me real and nice, truhtfully, honest to the friendship, there are not many. As we know, friends come and go. Not many of them grow together with you. One of the best gang that I have is from my High skool, still remember the girls..

Throughout the 5 years of studyin together, 'catchin ppl' as we are the PENGAWAS, attending meetings for clubs & societies, going for camp-fire to meet up with cute guys, organising events to keep ourself busy and try to skip classes by giving valid reasons (we have to go for meetings), gambling illegally durin free time, washin toilet (voluntary job), doing weekly duty(cleaning class), 'lepak-ing' around.....many many more..It was really fun!

After 4 years of graduation, I dont miss school, but i miss the fun that we treasured, the moments we spent together, and the good friendship that we have built. These buddies are really close to me till today. Thanks to Nad, TL, Jo, Ruth, Mel, Hoong, Hui. Some of you are far away from me, but yet, still so close. I can feel you!

Of course, there are many times arguement happened and war started, but this lead to a better friendship as we managed to know each other better, and improve on it. You know who you are.hehehe.

*Do not look out for me, you will vomit ^^

Next is the college life. Everyone in high school is waiting for this day to come. Why? It is just simply, no more uniforms!!! We are allowed to dress as sexy as we want, go dating officially as we are no longer a minor, drive to college (this was not allowed when some of us are in high school although we have license).

Entering TARC college was not my first choice, but due to the financial, i have no choice. But i nvr regret. I found a bunch of friends in my last yr of Diploma. They are with me till today. I think mentioning their names will be fine as some of them just like to be "famous".Haha.

Little friend, Looi, Natalie are my classmates in yr 2. And from there, i get to join their gang and mix around. And also through them, I get to know Gh,JL,KZ who are from different course. These buddies are not as simple as what I think as time prove that they are special to me! At first, they are just simply a group of friends to study with in library before finals, hang out with and joke around to pass time.

But as time pass, they change my perception. They are more than friends! I have been throwing out my heart and treat every of my them as good as i can. And this time, i can feel that they are doing the same thing to me. Looi, Little Friend, GH, KZ are my good listeners and advisors whenever i need help. Thanks alot! I know sometimes i might be abit annoyed, but i bet you will miss me like crazy when I leave for Aust.

After graduation for a yr, things have changed. Everyone are in different Uni. Some are even leaving M'sia to achieve their goals. This is so sad, but i know, if you are really my friend, you will be waiting for me no matter what happens and where each of us go. So, you qing wan sui~~

*Happy hour which make all of us tear*
